Marin, Esquire, C.P.A., LLM Tax, possesses a unique blend of skill and experience as an attorney having achieved an advanced tax law degree, as well as a certified public accountant. With this combination of skill, Ed Marin can provide complete estate planning and administration services, from the development of a comprehensive estate plan and income tax compliance, through the settlement of the estate and post mortem planning for the family. Mr. Marin excels in the use of the latest techniques to minimize estate and gift taxes as well as the implementation of effective plans for business succession and asset protection, including the protection of assets for children with special needs.
Mr. Marin has been practicing law since 1986. His practice is concentrated primarily in the areas of Estate Planning, including the drafting of wills and trusts, estate and gift taxation estate and trust administration, charitable planning and income taxation. Mr. Marin received his Masters in Tax (LLM degree) and Juris Doctorate degree from Georgetown University. He is a member of the Maryland, District of Columbia and New York Bars. He is also a member of the Trust & Estates and Elder Law Sections of the Maryland Bar Association, a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and a member of the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants.
